A man read the word of God in 1 Corinthians 4:10 which says, “We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong; you are distinguished, but we are dishonoured!” Then he decided to act like a fool! He put on a T shirt with a bold tag that says: “I AM A FOOL” with smaller letters that read, “for Christ’s sake.”

When people saw then bold tag, they started laughing at him, saying; “being a fool is funny enough, let alone to admit it.”

 The man, however, has another tag at the back of his T shirt which boldly asked, “WHOSE FOOL ARE YOU?” All the people stopped laughing at once because they all knew everybody is a fool for somebody or something.

The followings are the three deadly weapons of the devil:

1. Lust Of The Flesh: So many people, including political and other leaders had been lured into sins through the lust of the flesh like sexual immoralities. This often makes fools out of them. Many have become fools for money and many others have become fools for the rich members of their families. Anything that makes a fool out of anybody can destroy the person or the good things in his or her life. The Bible which lists works of the flesh in Galatians 5:19-21 says, “Now the works of the flesh are evident which are: Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outburst of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like: of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in the time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Thus the word of God makes it clear in the passage that each of the works of the flesh leads to nowhere but hell as in Revelation 21:8.
2. Ignorance Of The Word Of God: Anyone who is ignorant of the word of God can be deceived and be used by the devil to deceive others. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” It also says in Hosea 4:6 that the people of God are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
3. Heresies Or Distortions Of The Word Of God: So many things in the world have made Christianity a form of religion instead of a way of life as designed by God in the Bible. Aside from this, there are so many heresies and distortions in the Bible. Many denominations through misunderstandings of the scriptures have distorted the word of God with their doctrines. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 4:1-2, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons; Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron…”

Pray that you are not overcome by any of these weapons.
