NETWORK MEBERSHIP TEAM
Network Missionary Team (NMT) member may be short or long term CEMS Missionary Works within and outside Nigeria. NMT under the leadership of the Group Coordinator has the following groups and functions
i Primary School Missions are NMT members’ involvements in Primary School Missionary Works through establishments and coordination of Bible Clubs or other Fellowships in Primary Schools. These members may also be involved in Student Orientation Studies if the Centre Coordinator engages them in the programmes.
ii Secondary School Missionary Missions are NMT members’ involvements in Missionary Works through establishments and coordination of Bible Clubs or other Fellowships in Secondary Schools. These members may also be involved in Student Orientation Studies if the Centre Coordinator engages them in the programmes
iii Campus Missions are NMT members’ involvements in ministering at Campus Fellowship or establishment and or assisting in coordination of Campus Fellowship. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for the ministration work
iv Prison Missions are NMT members’ involvements in ministering at Prison Fellowship or establishments and or assisting in coordination of Prison Fellowship or serving as the Prison Chaplin. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for missionary works
v Village Missions are NMT members’ involvement in ministering at Village Fellowships or establishment and or assisting in coordination of Village Fellowships. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for the missionary works
vi Missions Abroad are NMT members’ involvement in missionary works outside Nigeria, working in schools that require the service of teachers or helping denominations that require CEMS service to plant CEM Fellowship or Adult Education or other Centres.
vii. Elders’ Missions are NMT members’ involvements in ministering to elderly people who are always at their homes through establishments of Senior Home Fellowships. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for the ministration work.
viii. Youth Missions are NMT members’ involvements in ministering to Youths either through (a) The Church or (b) Youth Home Bible Club/ Fellowship or (c) Youth Home/Evening School or (d) Other Youth Centres. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for the missionary and or academic works.
- Children Missions are NMT members’ involvements in ministering to children either through (a) The Church or (b) Children Home Bible Club/ Fellowship or (c) Children Home/Evening School or (d) Other Children Centres. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for the ministration and or academic works.
- Home Missionary Works are NMT members’ involvements in ministering to families in their homes through The House or Family Church or Home Fellowship at any time that is convenient for the family. They may be required to use specified teaching materials for ministration works.
- Office Missions are NMT members’ involvements in ministering only through offices during recess period once or twice in every week as may be permitted by the establishments or organizations or institutions. Missionaries may be required to use specified teaching materials for missionary works.
xii. Other Missions are NMT members’ involvements in works like follow up of converts of NETs at various places.
7(l) Network Resource Team (NRT) member may be short or term CEMS Training Works within and outside Nigeria. NRT under the leadership of the Group Coordinator has the following groups and functions:
- Conference Resource Person is NRT member that coordinate or delivers lectures related to Christian Education at conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums that may be organized by CEMS independently or in conjunctions with other organizations or institutions or ministries. Resource Persons may be mandated to use or follow specified resource materials.
- Adult Christian Education Resource Person is NRT member who educates adults who are illiterate or semi illiterate either independently organized by CEMS or in conjunctions with schools or others organizations or institutions at designated CEMS Adult Education Centre. Resource Persons may be mandated to use specified teaching materials for the academic purposes and or missionary works.
iii. Campus Resource Person is NRT member who may be involved in delivery of papers in relation to Christian Education at conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums that may be organized by CEMS independently or in conjunctions with various Institutions or Campus Fellowships. Resource Persons may be mandated to use or follow specified resource materials.
- Media Resource Person is NRT member that is involved in teaching or preaching the word of God through the media like radio or television stations or social media platforms.
- Primary Schools Resource Person is NRT member that is involved in conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums mainly in conjunctions with Primary schools either for students or teachers or parents. They also speak at graduation ceremonies of students or other occasions in the school. Resource Persons may be mandated to use or follow specified resource materials.
- Secondary School Resource Person is NRT member that is involved in conferences, seminars, workshops and symposiums in conjunctions with secondary schools either for students or teachers or parents. They also speak at graduation ceremonies of students or other occasions in the school. Resource Persons may be mandated to use or follow specified resource materials.
vii. General Resource Persons are NMT members who are involved in general speaking engagements within and outside the country, including the CCEM lecturers
